This free 6-page pack provides all the documentation you need, together with instructions on how goodwill is valued, to enable you to register your interest in APMA valuing your practice or fees. If you wish to fully understand the history and concept behind valuing your goodwill, and give you pointers to enable you to estimate its value, you will need to purchase the Practice Valuation thesis.

Heads of Agreement Document
This is a comprehensive 12-page master Heads of Agreement document, including full instructions for its completion, used for many years by APMA's clients. Each of the 16 clauses incorporates a blank space to be filled in by the vendor and purchaser, and at the conclusion you should have a non-legal sale agreement and the completed document can be passed to your solicitor, making his task much simpler. If you also purchase the Draft Sale Agreement the saving in legal fees could be measure in £k's.

Practice Valuation
This is a 9-page analysis of the relationship of goodwill in commercial business versus the way good will is valued in accounting firms considering the concepts of sustainable turnover and sustainable profits. It compares the methods of valuing larger practices with the different methods used for smaller firms. This document, together with the free Valuing pack provides all the information you need to understand the history, concept and method of valuing goodwill and enable you to obtain a valuation of your practice
via APMA.

Draft Sale Agreement
This is a 30 page (approx) sale agreement which gives structure to any agreement to buy and sell a practice or block of fees. While it cannot suit all situations it may be readily adapted. If completed and passed to a solicitor (whose normal fees could be in the range £2,000 to £5,000) for him to cast his eyes over, it should save a legal fees and compress the time frame. If you also purchase APMA's master Heads of Agreement Document, the time to completion, and the legal costs, should be very considerably reduced.
